John joined OMNE Partners in 2020 and brings more than 45 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm. Throughout his career, he has provided brokerage, consulting, and asset management services to investors, institutional owners, and corporate clients, helping them make informed real estate decisions and achieve their long-term goals.
A Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management, John began his commercial real estate career in 1978 as a property manager in Omaha. His success in the industry led to leadership roles overseeing property management operations for several organizations before transitioning exclusively into sales and leasing in 2006.
Known for his consultative approach, John works closely with buyers, tenants, sellers, landlords, and investors to identify opportunities and develop strategies tailored to their unique objectives. His extensive market knowledge, industry relationships, and experience across all commercial property sectors, including multifamily investment real estate, help clients successfully navigate complex transactions and achieve their real estate goals.
A native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, John earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate Land Use Economics.
John has remained actively involved in advancing the commercial real estate industry throughout his career, serving on numerous boards, committees, and industry organizations. He previously served as Chairman of the Commercial Division for the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®, where he helped establish Omaha’s first commercial listing service. He is also the co-founder and President of the Nebraska Association of Commercial Property Owners, leading the organization’s legislative efforts at both the state and local levels.
